  • The duration of the CLAT exam is 120 minutes.

  • For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded to the candidates.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks which will be get deducted for every wrong answer.
  • The type of questions in the CLAT Exam is subjective based.

Number of questions asked from the different subjects

  • Legal Reasoning = 35 to 39 questions ( It consists of about 25% of paper)
  • Current Affairs and General knowledge section = 35 to 39 questions ( It consists of about 25% of paper)
  • Logical Reasoning = 28 to 32 questions ( It consists of about 20% of paper)
  • English language = 28 to 32 questions ( It consists of about 20% of paper)
  • Maths Section = 13 to 17 questions( It consists of about 10% of paper)
