How to Download JEE Main 2021 scorecard: Check Step-by-Step Process

NTA (National Testing Agency) is the official body that conducts the JEE exam and has now released the JEE Main 2021 admit card. The candidates can download the official JEE Main 2021 admit card from the official website. For the candidates to download the admit card, they will have to use the JEE application number and birth date. Candidates should download and keep the JEE Main 2021 admit card safely as they will need to show it before entering the exam centre.

Candidates will have access to check the JEE Main result 2021 through the online mode. The result will be declared in the percentile mode by NDA. The ranks of the candidates will also be declared once the results are announced. Once the results for both sessions are announced, the candidates’ ranks will be calculated by comparing both the candidate’s attempts. NTA only provides the result through online mode and not offline. The February JEE Main 2021 exam will be released in March 2021. The score comprises the actual marks that are obtained in Paper-I of multiple subjects.

JEE Main 2021 Normalisation Score: The process of normalisation is the practice for comparing the candidates’ scores across the multi-session papers. The process is similar across various educational selection tests. The process is the same throughout India.

To normalise across various sections, NTA uses percentile equivalence. The formula of percentile can be calculated:

100 X No. candidates that appeared in ‘Session’ with a raw score equalise to or less than the candidate’s score/ Total number of candidates spread in the ‘Session.’

Steps to Check JEE Main Result:

 Step 1: The candidates need to visit the official website

 Step 2: A new page opens on the screen.

 Step 3: The candidates must mention all their mandatory details such as date of birth, the application number, security code, etc.

 Step 4: Once the candidate has filled in all the details, they are supposed to click on ‘Login’.

 Step 5: The JEE Main 2021 result will appear on the screen. Candidates should take out the printout of the result for future use. It is always better to take extra copies of the printout to be on a safer side.

 Score Card Details: The following information is printed on the JEE main result scorecard:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Roll Number
  • Date of birth
  • Father and mother’s name
  • Nationality
  • Eligibility of the state code
  • Category and Sub-category
  • Total marks obtained by the candidate
  • Percentile
